Eduardo Perez's two-out RBI single snapped a sixth-inning tie and Eric Owens went 3-for-3 with two RBI, powering a Cincinnati Reds split squad to a 9-8 triumph over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at St. Petersburg, Florida.

Bret Boone also had three hits and drove in two runs for the Reds, who collected 14 hits and overcame Tampa Bay's six-run fourth inning.

Jim Crowell got the win, despite allowing four runs and three hits with two walks in 1 1/3 innings. Scott Winchester picked up the save, although he surrendered Quinton McCracken's two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth.

Kevin Stocker's three-run homer highlighted the Devil Rays' big fourth inning.
